In the fall I happened to drop in at our local shelter to see if they needed any foster help. I guess you can see where this is going...... They asked me if I could take this little kitten about 4weeks old that was found on the beach. I have to tell you that was the most pathetic kitten, skinny, scrawny, snot dried to his face. We didnt get out of the parking lot before I fell completely in love with that kitten, all ears and feet. Here is what he looked like when i brought him home.
"LUCKY"

Then he started to turn around and began his life again.

Dogs want to know when he is leaving

Ok, so remember when I said I wasn't going back to the shelter????
I got a call from kitty rescue and there was this poor cat that was about to have babies and stuck at animal control, which is not exactly the Ritz. What else could I do, let her have her babies in that dank dirty place? Of course not!!! (thats my story and I am stickin to it) Easter dinner was put on the back burner and off I went yet again.
Meet Miss Marbles and her new family
and stop calling me the crazy cat lady!
Kittens are four weeks old already, they are walking around their condo and I have even seen them in the litter pan, GO KITTENS!! They are also starting to taste crumbs from moms food. Here are pictures taken this morning. Laverne seems to be the largest of the kittens with little Mary Kate the tiniest and very sweet. Watching them play just makes me smile on even the worst of days.

Her time here was short but she was loved and she did matter.
AND I AM STILL NOT THE CRAZY CAT LADY!!
